I'll be 33 weeks during our 1 week Disney vk. Very use to Disney, and the walking. I don't mind sitting out rides at all, I more or so enjoy to go to see my kiddos enjoy Disney world through their eyes :) this trip in particular is a huge family trip and is a once in a life time for some going so I really want to be there for this. My previous pregnancy was so smooth and I'm very healthy so I suspect no major issue but that's of course not in stone.

Anyways I'm more or so looking for some insight of fellow mommies who have flown and done Disney 30+ weeks, how was it for you?

granted this was many many years ago, had to fly to funeral at about that timing. had some trouble finding an airline that would fly me. dr permission did not count they had a cut off and if you were past you were past. so I would talk with airline you plan to fly

18 years ago I flew to disney at about 32 weeks. Flight was no problem.
Did parks at a slower pace than usual and drank tons of water.
Only prob was my feet were killing me by day 4.

Thanks guys your responses are helpful :) we always fly with jet blue or southwest, they usually have the best fares for us from here to Orlando. Either of which don't have any restrictions of flying at 33 weeks, so that's good! I'm a little concerned about what Disney might be like that far along but we are Disney veterans I think I'll be fine. Any more experiences are totally appreciated also :) :)

Hot and exhausting! Be sure to take really good care of yourself. I know I would of been really uncomfortable walking around in the heat at that stage in pregnancy.

We flew out to CA to visit my BIL when I was about 27 weeks pregnant with twins (so I looked like I was 40wks :lmao:), and I had no problems with the airlines giving me a fuss, although I did have a doctor's note PLUS all of my records, in case I went into labor early while there.

We went to both DL and the San Diego zoo, and did a LOT of walking - I'll freely admit that I made DH slow down to MY pace and grumbled quite a bit (and at DL I was mad because once again I couldn't go on the Matterhorn), but overall the trip went well!

Just remember to drink LOTS of water, and take it easy - if this isn't a once in a lifetime trip for you, then don't worry about what you can't ride/do, and just enjoy being at Disney World!

Would not do it, period, except during emergencies! A vacation could definitely wait for me! My third (and last) pregnancy proved that everything can be going fine, then abruptly fall apart!
Also, flying aside, would not want an emergency miles from home, JMO!

Went at 31 weeks and for the flying, just remember to get up and walk around a lot.

For the parks, take a lot of breaks and drink a lot of water. Take advantage of going to shows and sitting out rides as built-in breaks.

It was a really great trip for us and my daughter who was 4 at the time was thrilled to have the last trip as an only child. :)

My wife was 33 weeks when we went last end of July/August. She walked slower than normal, took a few more breaks, ducked into AC whenever she felt the need, and sat whenever she wanted. Some days we got later starts but other days she was the one ready. She did drink a ton and probably would say she needed to drink more.

As others have mentioned, condition/forewarn others that you may cut certain days short or need to sit some things out but other than the rides that you shouldn't ride, I think you'll enjoy it.

We have some great pictures of different characters "having fun" with the belly. Looking back at it, it was a great last "singles" trip...looking forward to this year when we take the little guy, even though he'll only be 11 months.

I went at 28 weeks, and it was July. The best thing I did was rent a scooter. I really did not want to ride around on a scooter, but my DS insisted. Turned out to be a great idea as I was able to last a lot longer in the park without over doing it, and I always had a place to sit.

I was 30 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and had a great time at Disney! If you're not having any problems with the pregnancy I think you will be fine. I enjoyed a much more leisurely trip. Drink lots of water though! You will get more dehydrated.

The only problem I experienced was blisters. Once I started switching my shoes every other day I was better. I was the pregnant lady wearing crocs with my socks.

This is not an issue.

One thing I would do is research a bit the hospitals down there so you know where to go if worst case you go into labor. 99% likely this will be a waste of time, hopefully it will be but on the tiny chance you need it...

I agree with checking out the hospitals down there just in case.
I had each of my kids early so it's hard for me to look at it from a different standpoint but you just never know. I was 10 days late, my brother was 6 weeks early. i was hospitalized at 32 weeks with my 4th baby, never had any problems *that* early with my other kids (all born between 34 and 36 weeks). If you happened to go into labor there know that the baby would need to stay in FL until released from the NICU.

Most likely everything will be fine but you NEED trip insurance on this one. Just so if there are any concerns that pop up before you leave you can cancel without losing the money.

Based on my experience going to Disneyland around 6-7 months pregnant, I do NOT recommend. I also have very smooth pregnancies, but, I was in tears by the end of the day. This was with taking it easy. My feet were so swollen and tender. I was exhausted. I was hot. And!! I had to wait for the other members of our party before we could go home. They stayed very late, which is what probably out me over the edge.
We also flew from Florida to CA and I was swollen again. The whole flight.
It was so awful that 8 years and 3 kids later, I am just now booking our next trip to disneyworld--ha! I guess it took me awhile to get over it.
If its a trip of a life time and you're going to go anyways, I highly recommend taking a break midday and going back to the hotel for rest in addition to drinking lots of water and using a slow pace. Take a seperate car or shuttle fron everyone else so you are not stuck! Hopefully things go better for you than did me!
