flying Airtours into Sanford on premier economy/then curtesy bus to All Star Movies

need to ask certain questions to anyone who has maybe done all the journey from start to end please get in touch we are going for 3 weeks in October only just over 6 weeks now. thanking you

We travelled with Airtours in October 2001 and also stayed at All Star Movies. No problems with the holiday from Airtours point of view. Had to wait 10-15 minutes at Sanford for the bus to the hotel. Had one other family to drop off first and then onto ASMo. On the return journey to the airport, we were the last pick up on a full size coach.
We are going back to ASMo in October, but are travelling with Virgin this time.

Thank you chowells for a reply, did you go premium economy or not? if so what was it like my Hubby is nearly 6ft so extra leg room would be great. How long does it take to get to Hotel roughly? and was the guest house at airport when you went? probably got more questions later thanks for now regards lynne

Leg room on the flight was the usual standard (we didn't upgrade), made easier as we each sat next to one of the children, gave us some more room by sitting at an angle.
I think the trip from the airport to ASMo took around an hour, including a drop off at the other hotel.
Sorry, I don't know what you mean by the guest house at the airport

Just back on Airtours flight and did upgrade to Premiair Gold.
Well worth the extra £149 each. Try and upgrade if you can.
The bus from Sanford to resort will prob take about 1.5 hrs.
We booked a Limo with HAPPYLIMO.COM and a stretched Limo with free drinks and TV/DVD's will easily knock off half an hour on traveling time and why not arrive in style.
Fantasic surprise for the DW and kids. Have a look for yourselves.

Hudsom thanks for message, we are staying at all star movies so will get a curtesy bus so maybe limo next time! can I ask about airtours how were the seating arrangements there is 4 of us going out and 9 coming back. Did you get your allocated seats before you went or did you just get to airport earlier? and what about food? roughly what was it like? drinks are they quite free flowing and are there tv's in back of seats, have only ever flown Virgin, and as my sister persuaded us to go airtours and fly into sanford airport I'm just a bit jittery in case its not up to scratch. Mind you these boards are excelent so many people asking lots of questions and lots of answers sorry if i've bombarded you with questions, i'm so excited only 5 weeks to go now and staying for 3 weeks. thanks everso lynne
