Would flying on the Sunday following Thanksgiving be as busy and hectic as I think it would be? What about Monday? On my last trip, I booked our reduced airfare about 5-6 weeks before our January trip (due to it being a slow time of the year), but will travel be too busy for me to be able to do this on either of those days?
EDIT: Mmmkay, it's looking like flying Sunday would be a bad idea, mostly due to the cost of airfare. I'm told that even Monday will be more expensive than usual. I'm not really worried about the crowds though; we would be at BUF in the early morning with a layover at JFK... not a big deal. Still, the cost may force us to extend or shorten our vacation some... dang.
