I will be going on my first cruise this fall with my family. We are flying into Orlando the night before our cruise, and I was looking into the fly snooze cruise packages that the different hotels offer.

Before taxes (2 adults and 2 kids), with transportation from Orlando airport to the hotel, one night stay at hotel, hotel to cruise, and cruise to airport are:

International Palms Resort $249
Hilton $299
Best Western. $309
Double Tree. $319
Hampton Inn $319
Comfort inn. $347

Anyone have reviews on this service? The prices seem to be a good deal, I just want to make sure that we won't be waiting hours in the morning for a shuttle and not getting to the port until the afternoon.

Has anyone stayed at the International Palms? Is it as bad as the reviews on Tripadvisor make it seem?

We are also a family of four going on our first Disney cruise. We will be on the Disney Fantasy June 6, 2015. What did you think of the Fly, Snooze, Cruise? Would you recommend it? And any advice for newbies? Thanks.

We always stay at the Orlando airport Hyatt the night before we sail. Disney can add the room on to your package, and the hotel will take care of your bags on departure morning so you don't have to worry about getting them down to the Magical Express buses. This year I think it was a little more than $200 for the room. Of course the Magical Express is an additional charge, but since the hotel is right there at the airport, there's no stress about making it to the port late.

We also flew to MCO, stayed at the Hyatt and took disney transportation. It was fantastic! When you check in make sure you mention that you are taking disney transportation for the cruise in the morning. They'll give you a small form to complete and take with you to to the bus check in. Before 8:30am you put your DCL luggage tags on all your checked bags and the hotel will pick them up and give them to disney for transfer to your stateroom.

You just have to take carry on bags (make sure you bring a swimsuit) with any necessities as your bags may not be in your room until later in the afternoon. Also if you're flying in and staying at the Hyatt do NOT put DCL tags on your bag before you fly or they will go direct to the ship and you won't have access to them at the hotel.

Good luck!

if the palm hasn't bothered to bury the bad reviews on tripadvisor, it indicates they just don't care...however, in business, bad reviews always make more noise than satisfied or happy reviews.....if things were ok, you don't bother to say anything because they SHOULD be okay...

anyhow, check google reviews or any of the 9 million other sites...

as to your original question, it is getting lost in people telling you about hyatt mco....it IS a great place, but doesn't pertain to your query.

I have no experience with the snooze/cruise stuff....i am interested, thogh

We did fly, snooze and cruise in August with Courtyard by Marriott and our friends did it with Four Points by Sheraton (they waited too long and ours was booked up). Neither of us had any complaints with the rooms or the shuttle and they were both close enough to walk to the beach the evening before the cruise.

We have done this package with Hampton Inn and have had great experience both times. The hotel is a little older but very nice and clean, which I am a fanatic when it comes to a clean hotel! :-) The staff is very accommodating, the breakfast is really good with a big selection and it's in walking distance to the beach and many stores, therefore arriving a day early will allow you to enjoy some down time.

The shuttle service used through Hampton Inn was Travelynx, not sure if that's still the same company now but as of January, that's who we used this year and last. They were great as well! The best part about staying here and using an outside shuttle service (from Disney) is that you can arrive at the port when you want, as you request a pick up time through the shuttle service and they are prompt. With Disney shuttle, you are on their schedule, when they pick up is when you go. We had an early port arrival time so therefore doing the outside company worked better for us versus staying at the Hyatt and utilizing the DCL service.

Check out the Springhill Suites by Marriott at the Orlando airport. We have a one night stay for $117/including tax in Feb.
They also have a package that includes transportation. We have 3 rooms, 6 adults. We called Happy Limo and got private limo very reasonable. Check them out also,
