Fly pen...making me feel stupid

Don't you hate when you can't figure out how to work a simple toy?

Anyone else having problems with the fly pen that is going to fly out the window in a minute?

We can get it to turn on, but can't get it to recognize anything..can't even get past setting the date!!!

I feel you. I looked at DD's for a second and then put it down for later when I have time to read directions.

Sounds like something might be wrong with it. My 9 year old has his all set and he did it quick! You do have to print neatly and make sure you have good batteries. We got the rechargable ones. Good luck!

DD has been too busy playing with her electric guitar to try her fly pen. Yeah we (Santa) bought the charger

I'll have it sit on the charger for awhile and see if that makes a difference.

I was reading an article in Wired magazine about the Fly pen. They were talking about people that were testing it out and how some got it right away and some didn't. I think one of the people that had trouble at first rebooted it and it was fine. Either that or something about writing an M with a circle around it. It's been a month since I read the article so it's a bit foggy
