Flowers and Star Wars and Harry, oh my! TR started, link inside!

Thanks Lessa, for sharing that really bad portrayal of Edna, it was so BAD!! :rotfl2: I still don't know if I have forgiven you for throwing me out there.

Woo Hoo, double digits, Disney here we come!!!

That's what daughter's do Beth!!!:lmao:

I've been hearing great things about Via Napoli's pizzas! They'll be on my list for next time. :thumbsup2

That sounds like a very nice Epcot day. It's the best place to take it nice and slow.

I can't wait to see pictures of your camera!

I am a pizza fanatic as anybody in my family will attest to, this is the meal I am most looking forward to.

new camera how exciting.

I haven't had a chance to take too many pictures yet, well other than of the cats and the fish tank. :rotfl:

Here are the first pictures taken with the new camera. Nothing too exciting, just the cats and fish.

Now the camera is in the water. The fish did not want to cooperate so no pictures of them.

That's right, Erich and I are lazy and have not taken down the Christmas decorations in the basement. Don't worry the main tree upstairs in the living room has been down for a month now.

No flash used on this one.

So far I am happy with the camera. It is easy to use. The only thing I will need to get used to is the zoom being on the back of the camera rather than being a toggle button on top with the shutter button.

Very clear bright pictures! I think you got yourself a nice camera. :thumbsup2

Your days sound great so far! Colour me jealous. I'm really going to miss going in May this year.

The new camera pics look really good.

I am happy so far. I want to take it out and get more varied pictures but my schedule hasn't allowed that so far.

I am counting down the days to May especially since this winter has been so cold and snowy.

We have a snow day today! Classes and clinical placement have been cancelled for the day due to the snow storm. That is almost unheard of up here. I am so happy as Wednesday is my day working in the hospital and I was not looking forward to getting home at the end of the day considering all the snow we are meant to be getting. Maybe I will do a bonus update. I may even venture out into the snow with the new camera. It is freezeproof in addition to waterproof!

Nice pictures with the new camera, but where are the underwater pictures of the cats???? (j/k, don't hate on me!)

I need to hear more about this Holy Grail skit! If Matt gets to go with us on the June trip, that would be right up his alley!!! I would have to try and get him "thrown" into the fray.

Beth, sounds like you and I have kids with similar characteristics. Mine are always trying to volunteer me for all the prime "embarrassing moment" opportunities that arise!

The Holy Grail skit is hilarious! Pee yourself funny. If I remember correctly there are three audience roles. King Arthur, Sir GawainLancelot, and then the enchantress. They randomly pick the participants from the audience.

I didn't volunteer Mom, she is stretching the truth. They choose her from the audience, she was reluctant to do it, and so I gave her a little shove. :rolleyes1

Day 5

This is the last day of the Flower and Garden Festival so we will once again be heading to Epcot. If we follow the plan and start the previous day with Soarin, that means that we will start this day heading over to Test Track. The first time I rode this I wasn't too impressed, I guess I was expecting a bigger thrill. On the last trip Mom and I rode several times and I grew to like it more. It is fun posing for ridiculous pictures on the ride.

This day we will fit in whatever we did not accomplish the day before. We may try Mission:Space. Out of all of our trips we have never been on this. I am always too afraid as I get easily motion sick and I hear it is really bad for people like me. I don't want to walk around feeling sick for the rest of the day.

Lunch will be at Beaches and Cream, we will aim to arrive when they open so as to avoid a wait. The main reason for having lunch here? The kitchen sink. We ordered this in 2008 and Alek and Erich want to tackle it again. I think there has even been talk of them each ordering their own kitchen sink. They plan on eating a light breakfast and then at Beaches and Cream they will not order food, just the ice cream. Sounds a bit gross to me but maybe I am just the odd one in the family. I on the other hand plan on ordering the cheeseburger or maybe the chicken sandwich and then a No Way Jose which I know I will be unable to finish. I can't resist though, it is so yummy!

The afternoon is free. Maybe we will wander around World Showcase some more. Explore the Boardwalk? Hang out at the pool or go to a water park? Downtown Disney? The mall? Maybe this will be the night we go to the World's Largest McDonald's! This is a Sunday night and as you know from our arrival night, we are Survivor fans. The Survivor finale is always on a Sunday. So if the season finale falls during our trip this would be the likely day.

Do you think they'll really each get their own?!?!

I feel sick just thinking about that!

Who knows? Wouldn't surprise me, they are stupid like that. I can't imagine that they would each be able to finish on their own, they might try and compete though to see who can eat the most. Yuck!

I love the theming of Test Track. I end up laughing throughout that ride.

I just did Mission: Space for the first time on green side. I did feel a bit dizzy on it, but it wasn't too bad. It was a lot of fun! My friend Liz gets really bad motion sickness when in the car and she did totally fine with it. :thumbsup2

Good to know! My motion sickness is really weird. I get sick playing video games where the camera angle changes often. For instance, a game like Mario Kart, I can play for 30 minutes tops before I feel ill. I can travel in cars okay, so long as I don't attempt to read, AT ALL. I could read just a little paragraph in a magazine and I feel sick for hours. Rides don't usually make me ill except for the tea cups.

The underwater shots look great. I haven't been able to test mine out in the water yet. It was cool being able to take it out in the snowstorms and not worrying about getting it wet though. I can't wait until it gets a bit warmer and we can test the camera out in the pool at the Y.

I still have a x-mas Mickey train in my front yard. I was going to take it down Jan.1 but we had a snow storm right after xmas and it was frozen in the ground. Now we have so much snow you can't even see it. That thing will be out there until Easter!

I posted before I saw your updates. I cannot believe they would get their own kitchen sinks. All the stuff they put on there grosses me out, esp. when everything starts melthing together.

I can't wait to try a No Way Jose. Since we're not on the dining plan I made a huge envelope covered in food pictures to save money in to cover our foods cost. The No Way Jose picture is right on the top.

Love the free afternoon. :thumbsup2
