Lunch was delicious, Aunt Christine made ham and her super yummy Cheesy Potatoes. I love her Cheesy Potatoes, I could have eaten the whole dish it was that yummy!

After the meal we took a break before eating dessert and played Disney Scene It and Flinch! For Disney Scene It we played in teams, Caroline and I against Mom, Andrew, and Aunt Christine. Naturally Caroline and I won by a landslide, the other team didn't stand a chance!

Once we went back inside we played a Historical Figures game which was really hard! I don't ever want to play it again, if ever a game made you feel stupid this is the one to do it.

After we left Grandma and I went for a walk through her neighbourhood to work off a few calories from lunch.

That night Mom, the Grandparents and I were in the back family room watching a movie when I saw a man looking in the back window at us. A few days ago Grandma had told me there had been a recent issue with break-in's in the area.... So when I looked up and saw this person looking in the window and was glad to immediately recognize that it was Uncle Jim. Mom and Grandma however only saw me lifting the curtain a the shape of a person and they FREAKED OUT! It was hilarious! I went and let Uncle Jim in the house and he stayed and talked with us for a few hours.

The next morning we woke up early as we had to head home. We left around 8am and made a pit stop at Kroger to pick up our American groceries. Mom then proceeded to get us lost when she ended up on the wrong highway so we were on our way around 9am. We stopped in Windsor at the Coach Outlet but I was a good girl and did not give into temptation and buy a purse. We didn't get home until 6pm that day, traffic going through Toronto was horrible, I thought we would never get through the city!

Now that we are back we only have two weeks left until WDW!

It has become tradition to take a set of "normal" pictures and then a set of silly pictures. I always like the silly pictures the most. :thumbsup2

I like the colour settings as well, very fun to play with.

Sounds like a great weekend.

I hope I don't offend but...have you lost weight? You look wonderful:goodvibes

What a beautiful church! It's a good thing you had your camera. And yes, Detroit is the most breathtaking city in the world.

Monday was Erich's birthday but since Mom and I weren't getting back from Toledo until the evening it was decided that we would celebrate Tuesday aka yesterday. ;) Erich decided that he did not want to go out for a big birthday meal since we will be on vacation in two weeks time. Instead he requested a home made meal, breakfast for dinner. So yesterday I spent the day baking his cake and I tried making pancakes from scratch. Erich couldn't decide if he wanted vanilla or chocolate frosting so we did half and half, the cake ended up looking like a giant Black and White cookie! The actual dinner was yummy although I will try a different recipe for the pancakes next time.

The theme for Erich's cake was Medieval in honour of our upcoming vacation and dinner at Medieval Times. I picked up a bucket of Medieval themed toys from Toys R Us for dirt cheap and just stuck those on the cake.

Initially I had only placed a few on the cake, Alek and Erich decided that ALL of them should be on or around the cake.

did you actually let him use the sword to cut the cake that would have been great.
:thumbsup2

Great update!!! I love a good shopping trip. I've scored some Vera Bradley bags at garage sales the last two years. They aren't the prettiest, but they are VB nonetheless!

I had never been too into the Vera Bradley thing but when I saw them in person I liked them a lot more. This bag is going to be perfect for school. There is enough room for a textbook and my notebook and my lunch. :thumbsup2

OH gosh, I fell a bit behind again on your thread, and see that you have 2 updates there!! And there you go again with your amazing photo skills- your pix of the flowers are great as always. You do very well with portraits too!! :thumbsup2

What a fun birthday! Very creative; and the pictures of Eric are cracking me up- you guys are such a fun-loving family!

What? No food porn from Olive Garden?!?! I'm just so curious, can't you tell? What a great Easter weekend! Looks like they've been getting much nicer weather down there than we have had up here. The church is gorgeous. It almost looks like a church you'd find in Europe. I love the cake with the medieval figurines all over it. Great idea :thumbsup2

 I didn't even think of food porn, I'll take some when we are in WDW 12 days from now!
