Wow, more than I thought. None very close to here though.
I made this recipe last week, and because blueberries are so good, and inexpensive right now, I'll probably make this again today. (I half the recipe so that it makes a 9x9 pan)
Blueberry Crumb Bars
INGREDIENTS
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup shortening (I use butter)
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 pinch ground cinnamon (optional)
4 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons cornstarch
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
In a medium bowl, stir together 1 cup sugar, 3 cups flour, and baking powder. Mix in salt and cinnamon, if desired. Use a fork or pastry cutter to blend in the shortening and egg. Dough will be crumbly. Pat half of dough into the prepared pan.
In another bowl, stir together the sugar and cornstarch. Gently mix in the blueberries. Sprinkle the blueberry mixture evenly over the crust. Crumble remaining dough over the berry layer.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until top is slightly brown. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Good Morning
Me and Jen are booked, but I forgot to have the GG# with me, they let me book through GG's and I'll have to add it today.
You guys were chatty last night!
This is my new favorite dip. Although instead of crackers we use tortilla chips..
Buffalo Chicken Dip
2 (10 oz.) cans chunk chicken; drained
2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
1 Cup ranch dressing
3/4 Cup Pepper sauce, such as Franks Red Hot
1-1/2 Cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 Bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4-inch pieces
1 (8 oz.) box chicken flavored crackers
Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat until heated
through. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook stirring until well-
blended and warm. Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the
mixture to a slow cooker. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover
and cook on low setting until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks and
crackers.

I haven't figured out what to do with mine just yet. I guess I need to look thru some pictures and see what type of theme I want to go with and than work that way.
Ash's Clipboard is done and turned out so cute.
Need to go. Have a good day!
thought I'd let you know how the washing maching drama unfolded. Ryan said it took him two minutes to get the other two screws off.I still think that it's way too much work. If this trap is supposed to be cleaned out regularly they should make it much easier to get to. That and they should tell you about it when you buy or at least when it's delivered. Anyhoo, cleaned out the trap and found- four kids socks, two dimes, a broken pencil, a rusty nail, a paper napkin. Quite the haul
Guess this needs to be done more often and no wonder it hasn't been draining properly.
well, off to shower before the extra kids get here and my kids wake up. have to go get an oil change this morning, that should be fun![]()
They wouldn't carry much, they are already make into little albums.
Is it safe to assume that this clipboard stuff has to do with scrapbooking?![]()
and we are still talking about recipes too???
What happened to complaining about the CB, dreaming about hot guys and complaining about our DH's????

1. the CB is a pain.
2. see my posts about Tim
3. can I complain about other people since I don't have a DH?
I was just reading a thread on the WISH boards about people who are using Alli with GREAT Success and NOT shooting orange oil out their butts.
I think the scare of it is happening is what is helping them keep off the fats.
