Anita, who do you want to be kicked out this week on BB?

Yeah but considering its time to pay Michaels tuition I guess I dont really have much to spare

I've been making a mental list of all the things I need to pay for soon- tuition, enrollment fee, HSA fee, ballet registration & tuition (X3), soccer (x3), nutcracker wardrobe fees, tap & jazz registration & fees, gymnastics, ladies trip, etc............ and this is how I feel :faint:

Holy cow, you are watching all of those kids and don't have cable???

I don't blame you, keep PBS, it could be a life saver.:rotfl:

Most of the kids are mine, and we don't actually put the tv on too much. But yes, there have been days when I just put on the PBS and enjoy it as most of them stop dead in their tracks and gape at the TV like they've never seen one before

She looks older

I don't think I care either way, I just want to smack the whole group in the head for letting D & D run the house :headache: who do you want out ??

I want Kail out. If not D& D will really have the run of the house. :sad2:

wow Becky, I don't know how you do it, no cable

well, there are a few reasons why we don't have it. One being that I can't justify the expense. If I were paying $50++ per month, I'd watch a heck of a lot of TV to feel like I was getting my money's worth. I already have enough sedentary pursuits. Ryan and I have always said that if we could pay per channel we would do it in a heartbeat, and have about 10 channels. The other reason is that when we were moving into our current home, we had very little notice. It's a co-op and we were voted in and able to move in the next week. Given that it was February in CT,it was more important to worry about the gas and the electric and the water, and then the phone next since we had a baby. Cable just kind of got moved to the back burner and we never did it. That was five years ago this past February. The other problem is that when we were moving, Ryan snapped the part off of the TV that the cable cord screws onto. I don't know if it can be fixed or not, we've never bothered with it. We can watch movies and our rabbit ears drag in a few channels. It's funny, most of the time we don't even miss it. We do enjoy watching way too much TV when we go and stay at a hotel though.

More power to you guys :thumbsup2 i'm sure we don't watch enough tv to justify what we pay, we have the whole enchilada, why !?!? I have no clue :lmao:

That is great that ya'll don't watch that much tv.

For a long time I didn't watch much because of the kids, but then when we got the DVR that records shows, now I watch way too much.

It's funny, but the more time that goes on, the less we think about it. It stinks when PBS won't come in because it's rainy or something stupid, but hey, that's what movies are for! Like I said, sometimes we do miss it, like when someone will post about all the great Disney shows on the travel channel, or when a girl I knew had her WDW wedding featured on the food network (or maybe it was the travel channel, I don't know) and I couldn't watch it, but overall those things are few and far between. When we go to a hotel though, Ryan and I sit there like complete idiots in fascination of all the channels :rotfl2:

I was up all night with a sick kid last night so I am exhausted. Good night everyone!

ha! kind of like at one point I was never going to ever use the tv as a babysitter or even allow my kids to watch it :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Yeah, that worked out :lmao:

Hi ladies!

I am so jealous that you are going to Vegas, Anita!!!! But what fun, and you will be Beth's first guest. :yay:
She and Catherine are both coming but I wish you were too. I wish a bunch of us could get together here. I've always wanted that even before we moved here, because I know it would be a blast!!!

My MIL watched Jonathan for me today, so that I could take Jess and go school clothes shopping. We had a great time, and she got so many cute things!

She wanted to go into Limited Too, and I said okay, but we probably will not buy anything. Well we found this cute outfit, it was a plaid skirt with a camisole shirt and a lightweight sweater that went over it.

So she tries it on, fits good, looks great. She takes it off. The skirt is $37, the camisole top is $20 and the sweater is $37. :scared1:

I told her no way, I am not spending $100 on a single outfit.
That is ridiculous!! But you know alot of kids do get to buy clothes like that. Those are probably the same ones who end up having $100,000 Sweet Sixteen parties too.

Justice is the one place we haven't been yet. I really like The Children's Place, I found some cute stuff there today.
We finally went into a Justice. I had never heard of it before. They didn't have them in MI which is no huge surprise, but they didn't have them in CA either. At least not before we moved.
Cute store! Still to rich for my blood though.

I'm baaaack!

Here is "Elvis" with my niece Jessica (on left) and her friend Amber

Wow, those are short shorts!! :rotfl2:
Your niece and her friend look very nice. :)

Ruben got his work schedule. Unfortunately it's not set. It's all over the map. The only good thing is he works 10 hour days so he only has to work 4 days a week to get all his hours in.

The sucky part is he has 4 days in a row next where he works till 2 a.m.

I was not happy about that since I worry about him walking to his car alone at that hour. UMC is not in the best area. Not the worst, but not the best. And they are county run so it's like E.R. , they get all the crazies. :sad2:

I know those nights I'll be up waiting for him. No sleep for me!!

I think my kids are going to have to learn to like bread and water. The groceries here are crazy!

A gallon of milk just cost me 4 bucks!!! $4 for milk!! Hello! That's cuckoo.
