So, we are on our way back home after spending a semi-enjoyable time with my brother and sister in law at their vacation park model trailer. I say semi-enjoyable because yesterday afternoon I when I took the girls for a swim and a sunburn, my brother and sis in law decided to grill Sandy for 90 minutes on our decision to home school the girls. Keep in mind, these are people who, as a live style choice, decided not to breed, which given their personalities was probably wise decision. All of their child-raising knowledge comes from interacting with their rich friends. Apparently, they are still not convinced that we can teach our girls, but thats a discussion for some other time and place. So anyways, Sandy has been a little bit on the bummed side for the past 18 hours or so. Now, as yall know Little Red is one of the new VW Beetles, so it comes with a flower vase on the drivers side. Well we have a single faux red carnation/babys breath dollar store combo in the vase. Little Red is my mobile NerdMobile Command Centre, since I gotta write notes for time to time, I normally have a couple of pens in there as well which keeps everything in place. Well not today brother and sister, today its just the fake faux imitation flower thingys. So Sandy, whose driving LR, turns on the air conditioner and the flowers starts to slowly rotate in the vase. She thought that was kinda neat, until I reach over and cranked the A/C to full blast. Oh ya baby, that flower combo started to pirouette like one of those famous classic ballet dancing guys in tights. Sandy really started to laugh, that helped to brighten her less than stellar day.
So, if you are having a downer of a day; find a new VW Beetle, stick a single flower in the vase and crank the A/C. Nothin like a spinning flower to brighten things up.
