Greetings!

While diving around the Theme Parks board, someone asked if AP members could still get "priority" wristbands for the F&G Show FP Concerts. One person responded that a friend (yeah, I know) who was there said that they were only giving them to DVC owners. This is all new to me: first time going to F&G Show, first FP concert - can anyone add some knowledge to this? (I am willing to accept speculation, educated guesses and "Magic 8-Ball" answers).

Thanks!

Just flipped the magic 8 ball, it's what I use to make all of my big decisions here at work. It said.........................................................maybe......

Really, I have no idea, just liked the magic 8 ball comment in your post

I think they did this last fall at the Food & WIne Festival. Not sure if that was the first time though?

They did it for DVC last year, but I have been reading and hoping and have not seen any news about it being so this year. I don't go until the last week in May, so hopefully someone will find out that the answer is YES!

Last year they were available for DVC and AP holders. The wristbands have to be picked up , in advance, at Guest Relations- to the left of SE- inside Epcot. You had to specify which showtime you wanted and got a color-coded wristband for that show. You will also need to show a member ID for each wristband you want.

With the wristband, we got first-come-first-served seating in a reserved area under the amphitheater roof on the left side of the stage.

If you'll be there, I'd sure stop at Guest Relations and ask. Some members (and AP holders) were turned away when they showed up at the theater with their member cards expecting to get into the resreved section. It's a looong walk back to Guest Relations.

The concerts are a lot of fun! If you get the chance, be sure to catch a concert. The Turtles (featuring Flo and Eddie) put on a GREAT show!

Thanks - as always, you've provided tres helpful information. And we are going to see The Turtles on 5/3 or 5/4.

ETA: LOVE the picture - all nice and "Peter Maxx-y"!

We went last May and just showed our Member card. They put us in the first row. There were 7 of us. We went to the evening show just before the fire works. I didn't know about the wrist band except for the 3 hours we stayed over at Epcot that night. Drtomorrow, we are going to be there also. I think it may have been the Turtles we saw last year.

FWIT and IMO the only bad seats in the theater are if you get behind a tree. We were there in Oct last and we are DVC and AP holders but I would not get a wrist band and then stand in the long line that was there ( at least an hour or more before the show started people were in line along the fence on the right side). When all those people got in there were plenty of seats left. All the wristbands do is get you seated way up front. To close for us. In the 3 years we been going to the shows in May and Oct we have never seen a bad show. All the bands or groups put on great shows.

If you need to be up front and out of the sun for the early shows, do get a wristband. :hourglass time is ticking away for our next trip april28/may6,05
