Hey girls,
I need your help! I'm lost as to which flowers to use for our bouquets. I love roses, and definately want them included, but not sure which colors to use.
Our wedding colors are cinderella blue, silver, & white.
This is the color of the BM dresses (NOT this style though..they will have crystal beading across the tops of theirs)

I had thought about using pink roses with calla lillies...like this:

But then I started thinking, and there is no other pink in our entire wedding, so it would kind of stick out, and I want it to correlate somehow. So I started searching and found these that I kind of like...

This one, I like the off-white color of the flowers, but would only use the blue hydrangea, not the purple too. Don't want purple. (Keep in mind I'm MAKING these from silk flowers, so using a lot of different flowers could also be a problem)

I also like some of these as options:

I would want to include something silver though...

I've also thought about using a tight bouquet of about 3 dozen off-white/cream roses with silver accents, like jewels or very small silver flowers (but that might look TOO fake)

what to do??:confused3 :scared1:

I also just found this...but I would add a touch of baby's breath and then the BM's bouquets would be just the blue hydrangea w/ baby's breath

Hi Ocean. I love the blue hydrangers, they are one of my favourite flowers.

When you say one of the colours is white, what do you have that is white? Is it your dress? I'm just thinking that off-white in the bouquets may look strange against a white background.

How about an accent colour in a white and blue bouquet that is completely different - you mentioned pink in your post. How about a few flowers in a contrasting but matching hue to the blue, or a stronger colour like a rose pink? I don't mean many of them, just a few. If you had some silver accents like the butterfly in the picture it would all tie in well. How about lilac (again same hue as the blue).

Hope that helps :goodvibes

I suggest you going out to look at what sort of silk flowers you can get. You might become inspired by a particular flower you see and the whole thing will come together. The good thing about doing it yourself is you can change it as many times as you want! Maybe go to a book store and look at some books about decorating with flowers and you might see some combinations that aren't in Bridal mags and websites.

disney are doing my silk flowers so i think they can do almost anything i would think

I think that you could add a few light pink roses to the blue hydrangea bouquet. Blue and Pink are very nice together plus it breaks up the blue a bit. If you wanted to you can have all pink flowers. The pink would work well as an accent color so that everything is not totally blue.

Those were our colors as well, although we had a darker blue than you. Here is a picture of my bouquet if that helps you. I had white roses and blue delphiniums (sp?).

My dress is white and our favors are blu & white, we're leaving the tables all-white, I guess there is a lot of white lol. But I'm sticking to a soft cream, almost white color. Like the color of natural white roses. And I LOVE the idea of a few pink roses in there...maybe buds? In a soft pink.

I did just that today!! One of my BMs and I went to the craft store and just walked around..she found an amazingly realistic silk rose in an off-white color that is fantastic! Then we found some bluish hydrangeas (they are an almost purple blue with a greenish center..very real looking) and when bunched together they lookes amazing!! So we discovered a perfect bouquet just by looking around! :)

I know..I'm waiting to talk to them next week before I buy anything, I want to see what they're prices are. They are truly amazing at doing anything! :)

Thank you...I tried the all pink bouquet..but just wasn't in love with it. But I definately love the idea of a few pink accents! :)

Wow!!! That is beautiful!! Thank you!! I was looking at using some delphiniums..they are still an option ;) Thanks again for posting that pic! :)

On a side note, I know I'm going to get these roses I found at a local store, and it just happened when I was there today they were doing a 20% off sale on gift certificates. (I also have to mention that this store NEVER EVER puts their floral on sale...so its no use waiting for one) So I picked up a gift certificate for the amount I need for the flowers and saved 20% that way!! :) (ie..I paid $80, got $100 certificate!):teacher:
