Flower and Garden!

I've been away in Floridaand got home on Saturday. Now I can think about the next DVC visit, in April for F&G. DSis and I will be at BCV for 5 nights and I was able to book BCV for DS and his family for the Saturday night so we'll all be together! I was surprised that a 1 bedroom BCV was available this close to the date, and they have 5, so will have to bring some extra bedding, but that's not a problem.

I hadn't read the schedule when I'm away, but I'm glad to learn about the workshops, speakers and the FP concert.

I've seen them before and enjoyed the show!

I'll be there for the first week of the Festival! We're going with extended family and staying offsite this time (Windsor Hills).

Have any of you done a workshop? I didn't know about them until maybe 3 years ago, and I still have the banana plant that we planted that year. Another year we made wildflower seed balls and they flowers from those came back last year.

So far, I don't overlap with any of you, even LauraLea is skipping "my" weekend!

Oh well! Who else is going?

I'm heading down for the Flower and Garden Festival March 11th to the 18th ,I'm staying at AKL Jambo house.(solo this time).
I made a special Flowers Around The World Booklet that I'm going to get signed in each of the WS World Showcase Pavilions.
It's such a breath of fresh Spring air going to the Flower and garden festival.
I love all the sights ,sounds and smells of the Flower and Garden Festival.
Counting down the days here in cold cold Canada.

Yes, I attended some of them last year and plan to hit more this year. The workshops are the reason I have booked so many trips. I also really enjoy seeing the HGTV personalities.

Where are the workshops held? In the Festival Center or elsewhere?

We will be there 3/9 - 3/18 (25 days !). We haven't been there for F&G since 2009 and only caught the last day. We will get to see Jose Feliciano and Starship (saw them at F&W 2011). Our first 5 nights are at BWV, and we a looking forward to our BW view and being able to walk to the F&G. The second half of the week is at the Grand Floridian for a conference my DW is attending.

We're hoping for warm weather!! I know early March can be unpredictable. The weather should be great when you are there! Enjoy!!

I want your vacation schedule!
We will be at OKW this trip, Mar. 13 - 20, so will miss seeing you. As often as you are at WDW I am surprised that I could be unlucky enough to pick dates that don't cross with yours!

Hi, We are headed down April 14-21. I have a nurse's conference a few days, but we plan to spend a lot of time at Epcot. I also plan to visit the Harry Leu Gardens - it is such a pretty time of year. This is the first time we are "resort hopping." We usually bring at least 3 of our grandkids, so this is a rare adult trip. We are staying at SSR 3 nights, Bay Lake 2 nights, and the Boardwalk Villas 2 nights. Should be fun! My husband is coming and said he would move us while I am in conference. We also plan to go to church on Sunday. One day we also want to drive to the Kennedy Space Center and do that tour. I don't think I will be overdoing it on conference offerings!

I'll be heading down for the Flower and Garden Festival this year but not until May 6th through the 11th.
I love going for the Festival, but have missed it the past 2 years so I am happy to go back to enjoy it.
I'm staying at the AKV-Kidani, I booked there with hopes of taking my grand daughter along, see loves seeing the animals. If my daughter in law lets me take her I know she'll love seeing all the flowers.

We'll be there from March 4-9, but since we aren't there on the weekend, we'll miss the events and workshops. At least we'll get to see the Jose' Feliciano concert though!

i will be there this year for the very first weekend of flower and garden!!! I am super excited, I have missed the last couple of years due to scheduling conflicts...But I am heading down to VWL

We'll be there April 21st to 27th. We're staying at Kidani with our kids and 2 yo granddaughter. Not sure how much Festival we'll be doing with a 2 yo. I'm sure she'll be ruling the schedule.

We will be at our first F and G event, from 3/16 to 3/20. Just a short trip this time. Jefferson Starship will be the guest preformers that weekend.

I don't think I have any bell bottoms around anymore! If I did I probably
(I know) I wouldn't fit in them anymore. Maybe if I reverse them?????

Anyway, for those that are going, I wish you the most happy of trips.

This is our favorite time of the year for visiting WDW and we loved seeing Flo and Eddy perform. I thought it was one of the best shows we've ever seen.

But I'm afraid we are going to miss it again this year...... we'll be at Aulani April 18th to 25th!

We are planning to be at WDW April 17th to 24th 2013.
