Flower and Garden Festival must do's?

Violet Lemonade!! Oh my!! I inhaled Violet Lemonades the last time we were there for Flower and Garden. They have them at one of the outdoor kiosks/buildings between the big, main walkway to future world and the Canada Pavilion. I thought I read somewhere that they are somewhere all year now but I can't seem to find where I read that.

I'm excited for my first visit to the F&G in March! Keeping notes from what everyone is saying on here so thanks! :)

Smell the roses--really rows of them (I just love this)......then shop for that special must have garden souvenir.(I like the Figment garden t-shirt)...then start
nibbling your way around the food booths. Check out the Twinings Tea tour........then take some selfies with the beautiful Topiaries.
I'm coming from Canada and just being able to walk around flowers and gardens without 4 layers of clothing is a treat.
Just a few more weeks for me to wait. I just finished making my granddaughter a passport for Easter Around The World--homemade.
Epcot 's Easter Egg Hunt is returning this year...(March 1-May 29) YEAH!!!!(I think there is a small price to do this.$5.99)
Have fun planning
Hugs Mel

Thank you so much for the link with the merchandise! We are going May8-14 and I really hope to get a pair of those Minnie Ears, they are so pretty!! Also love the the artwork this year, so excited!!!!

Does anyone know- do they have the gift cards on lanyards at the festival center for F&G, similar to the ones they have for F&W festival?

Is the Butterfly tent open late hours? We will be doing a 1 park day trip during the Flower and Garden Festival--currently we plan to have morning in the Magic Kingdom, early afternoon at HS, and will probably make it over to Epcot around 4 or 5 pm (we have a 6:45 dinner ADR.) The day we go also happens to be evening EMH at Epcot until 11 pm

I think I remember from 2014 trip that we had to try and make it there before they closed--don't recall the time. But it makes sense since butterflies are active during the day when the sun is out. Don't know when you are going, but maybe someone will post events schedule thing/times schedule image when Flower and Garden festival starts so you know for sure. I feel like I am remembering it might have been 5:00 ish.

Does anyone know what times the concerts are? I'm trying to rearrange plans for Mar 3rd or 4th to see Jon Secada.

I've never been to WDW and am SO excited to do the Egg Hunt! Do you get to choose which egg you want to keep?

Can you use Disney gift cards to pay for items from the outside food trucks or do you need cash and/or credit card?

Can you please tell me what the violet lemonade is?

I'm really glad we'll be there during F&G, it sounds so lovely. Too bad the tea tours don't happen on Fridays since our Epcot day is a Friday. I'm an avid tea drinker.

@GenGen22 Violet Lemonade is served in small cup (smaller than a typical lemonade). It is actually kind of a slush - not frozen but not like a normal lemonade. It is lavender in color and has violet flavoring added to it. It is topped with a real violet flower. The flavor is much more intense than a regular lemonade but it isn't sickening sweet.

If you are referring to the Outdoor Kitchens, they accept all forms of payment: cash, credit card, Disney gift card, and magic band.

The egg hunt is really fun. It is a good way to walk off all of the treats from the Outdoor Kitchens!
Smokehouse, Urban Farm Eats, and Florida Fresh are all great.
I love the Frushi from Japan and have that multiple times during our trip.

Awww...we were there for it last year, and it was so lovely. We didn't do anything particularly exciting, but the burnt ends hash as the outdoor kitchen in America was one of our favorite meals of the trip. I got the Frushi at the outdoor kitchen in Japan too, and it was good. I think we ate something else, but I'm drawing a blank. We wished we'd been able to graze on the Outdoor Kitchens more.

The flowers, gardens, and topiaries are very pretty.

I was a underwhelmed by the butterfly tent, honestly, but it's definitely worth walking through if you are just wandering around enjoying the day. I see more butterflies in my yard than I saw in that tent, LOL.
