The festival starts in a little over a month and I can't seem to find any list of which concerts will be going on. It's hard for me to believe they don't know at this point. Universal and busch gardens both have theirs up. Anyone know?

Herman's Hermits and The Spinners for our trip, I may stop to listen to a couple of tunes. But I'm not going to go out of my way.

Oh no, DH is going to kill me. I had the first week of march booked and switched it to the last week because I wanted poly and we couldn't get it the first week. He is going to kill me when he sees that he's missing Dennis DeYoung.

Well. Looks like I'm going to have to switch a couple of days around. I had originally planned on going to Epcot on the 16th and MK the 17th, but now that might have to change. I was a huge fan of Simple Plan 10ish years ago, never got to see them live!

We saw Herman Hermits last year. Peter Noone still can sing pretty well and they are fun with all their familar music. You will enjoy it.

I just realized The Pointer Sisters sing "Jump" which is featured in one of my favorite movies. We may have to try and catch them on our last night so I can dance like Hugh Grant in Love Actually.

The Gin Blossoms were the very first concert I was allowed to attend alone with friends in 9th grade! I still love them.

Alas, I get Starship. Meh.

If I want to avoid crowds, should I avoid Epcot on these "show" days or does that not matter? I've never been during the festival. Thanks!

The festivals are obviously going to be more crowded on weekends, for this festival the concerts are only Friday through Mondays which means that aside from Monday the days with concerts are going to be more crowded than Tuesday through Thursday. In my opinion there's no need to avoid Epcot because the concerts will bring more crowds, the crowds will be there because its a weekend,if you want lower crowd levels then go Monday through Thursday,on Monday you can still catch the concerts and the park won't be as busy. The F&G festival is still like a mini me of the more popular F&W festival where weekends get huge crowds, with that said the word is spreading that even though its a garden festival Epcot has turned it into a smaller version of F&W by adding food and drink booths,so every year the festival will get more crowded just like Food and Wine.

I remember going to Flower and Garden before the recession when the festival was shorter but did have daily concerts just like Food and Wine, basically it was much calmer atmosphere than it is today, obviously people came but even with daily concerts they had no real impact on crowds,a bigger impact is the addition of food and drink booths,I think Epcot has figured that out as you can see pretty much every festival or Holiday has unique food and drink booths.

Mickey Thomas and Starship is a great concert, trust me. I was "meh" the first time we saw him but were blown away. He does a lot more than Starship and the woman who does Grace Slick parts is awesome.

Thank You ! We have planned to go to Epcot on Monday, March 20, but have no problem switching to Wednesday, March 22 if I needed to. Hoping Monday will be OK though ...
