Flower and Garden booths 2018

I added a couple of thing and dropped a couple things. I am still at 40 items but I did get the price to drop to $299, lol. Pretty sure I will not end up ordering all of that. I also feel like I have a lot of drinks selected.

I commented on 5 of the F & G food booths in my dining report. Go to “Disney Dining Reviews” The post is titled “Dining Reviews from 2/26/18 - 3/3/18.
Enjoy your spring break trip!

Thanks, I will check it out!

Fried Shrimp and Zucchini in Italy, and the Smokehouse (all items) in America.

The brisket hash is amazing. Make sure to add BBQ sauce from the condiments next door. I do half sweet and half hot.

I’d skip the IPA and random drinks. Just pay for a bud light or drink-of-choice from any country to save from the booth pricing.

Josh has about 7 booth reviews up this morning. We go for F&G every year and I've found his reviews very helpful. He breaks down costs and value for dollar, which I like, and is very descriptive. I don't always agree with his taste of items but I always look forward to his reviews. I can't wait for our trip!

I'm so glad they have the scallops again! They were one of my favorites from last year.

The scallops were probably my favorite item from the booths last year. Yum!

We just got home, here is what we tried:

At the Honey Bee-stro - Wildflower Honey-Marscarpone Cheesecake - so good, not too sweet, plates were licked clean! Loved the presentation! We ate 2 between the 4 of us.
At the Pineapple Promenade - Spicy Hot Dogs - perfect mixture of flavors, my son and husband had one each, - Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade - small, but very good, tasted like violet candies
At the Berry Basket - Lamb Chop - really good, cooked perfectly, liked the Blackberry sauce, - Wild Berry Buckle - yummy - we each ate one.
At the Baurnmarkt: Farmer's Market - Had one of each food offering, we enjoyed all but really liked the Toasted Pretzel Bread and the warm Cheese Strudel
At the Smokehouse - the guys really liked the Beef Brisket Burnt Ends and Smoked Pork Belly Slider, - and Beef brisket Burnt Ends Hash
At Hanami - the Frushi is yummy, not too sweet
At Florida Fresh - the Spicy Blackened Shrimp and Cheedar Cheese Grits was excellent, we all enjoyed the Key Lime Tart, loved the Watermelon Cucumber Slushy - wish is was larger
At the Fleur de Lys - the guys has the Confit de Canard aux Gnochhi a la Parisienne, they both liked the gravy and they were nice sized servings, Daughter ate the entire Macaron au Chocolat en Sucatte
At Northern Bloom - the Seared Scallops - really good nice mixture of flavors and the scallops were perfectly cooked, daughter didn't like the sauce

We shared almost everything so everyone tried at least a bite of every item. We started at lunch time and finished at dinner time, so it worked out well for our meals for that day. My husband really enjoyed this festival, this was the first time I was able to get the family to try a number of dishes at a number of booths. Now we're looking forward to the Food and Wine!

So out of curiosity, are any of these booths considered cs meals, and if not, can you break up a cs meal at a booth and get 3 snacks? I haven't been to the park in years, but we will be going soon, and I am drooling over the options, but wondering how to work my 2 QS, 2 snack meal plan with this.

We really loved the booths this time. Favorite desserts were the Berry Buckle and cheese strudel. Favorite savory items were shrimp and carne from Florida Fresh and chilaquiles from Mexico. Savory items were some of my bf’s favorite food from the entire trip.

You mentioned almost everything I want to try! Glad you enjoyed it. I want the honey cheesecake, spicy hot dog, violet lemonade, pretzel bread, cheese strudel, and berry buckle. I've read nothing but good things about these selections (especially that cheesecake, which is #1 on my list).

We were lucky enough to go back to the Flower and Garden this past week, here's my update on what we liked and didn't like:
The Honey Bee-stro - still awesome, we each ate our own Wildfloer one-Marscapone Cheesecakes
The Baurnmarkt - HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Toasted Pretzel Bread and Cheese Strudel (dd was so disappointed)
The Cider House - Pear Cider- Brined Shredded Corned Beef - very good, sweet flavor, - Cheddar Cheese Biscuit - excellent, super fresh, - Lemon Scone - alsoo excellent plenty of berries
Northern Bloom - Beef Tenderloin Tips - One order was really good with plenty of beef, the other was light on the beef
Hanami - Frushi still really good

It wasn't crowded while we were there so we still had a great time. Still looking forward to Food and Wine.

We were there during the week, so the lines were short. There are high tops at some of the booths, tables at others, in the America area there are picnic benches. Sometimes it was hard to find a place out of the sun, we were wishing they had umbrellas over some of the high tops.

We were there three weeks ago and out of the things we tried, the one we went back twice more for was the Shrimp & Grits at Florida Fresh - Delicious and really authentic!! The last time they didn't put enough brown gravy sauce on the grits, but the taste was still wonderful! A+

Saw some long lines at some of the places that had more alcoholic drinks, but lines for the food were not long.

Love those shrimp & grits! For me, they were tied for 'best eats' at the Flower & Garden with the scallops, potatoes, and green beans dish (near Canada - I can't remember the name).

We really liked the Pretzel Bread with Black Forest Ham and Gruyere and the Cheese Strudel. Bill loved the Scallops at Canada. I had the Beef with mashed potatoes. The Honey Cheesecake and the flatbread were very good. Bill also like the duck in France. The Lemon Scone was very good.
