Cyril has my admiration for soldiering on after that nasty scare. It sounds like he and everyone else were able to enjoy the rest of the day despite it all.

Glad to read that your perseverance finally paid off with that very good looking villa. Perhaps you would never have seen that one but for the original SNAFU, so maybe this in another case of things working out for the best.
