Hello all! I'm trying to read through all of the threads to begin to plan a trip to Disneyland July 30-Aug. 2, and I'm becoming overwhelmed. We've never been out there, and I have no idea where to stay, how to plan, etc. I see a lot of abbreviations, and have no idea what they refer to. It's been quite a few years since we've even gone to Disney World here in Florida, so everything seems completely foreign. Are there fast pass bands? I want to make sure we go to both parks, and have a memorable time. My daughter will be 11 at the time of travel. Any advice on a good place to start! Thank you to anyone who would like to give a little bit of advice to a desperate newbie.
