I have checked the weather for our upcoming week and I am kinda bummed. The highest predicted temp is 72 and that is only one day. The rest of the days are in the low 60's. It's practically that warm in Jersey these past few weeks. So I don't even know if I should pack our bathing suits. :confused3 :sad2:

We just got back last Monday from 8 days at POP...I would definetely pack the bathing suits. The weather in Orlando really is unpredictable from day to day. It was 81 on Sunday, 82 on Monday, & then in the 70s the rest of the week. Even the high 70s felt hotter than it actually was.

Cheer up....I never look at the long range forcast when we go to Disney because I believe they really can't predict accurately even a week ahead of time. You might be surprised!

I had packed turtlenecks & mittens just in case...never needed them.

We got a cold front. SORRY! So while the cold may not linger much---it is very "florida chilly" right now.

But to make you feel better. Marathon weekend was absolutely frigid (on some days highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s). My girls were swimming just fine in teh pool at CBR. It was heated...and contrary to my earlier thoughts on the heated pools at Disney, it was very very warm.

Pack the swimsuits! You may be pleasantly surprised at your ability to swim and/or do the hot tubs even if we have a cold snap going on. :)

The weather can change on a dime here. One October vacation we were in the pool half the time and then a cold front came in and we had to buy sweatshirts! It's probably smart to pack a little of each kind of clothes.

Pack the swim suits. Also pack your bathrobes. This will make it much easier to get back to the room. I pack mine for fall/winter trips. Although the pools are heated the cool weather is chilly for the walk to/from the room. The bathrobe is just right.

How do you tell a child No you cant swim in the pool. Especially when others are swimming. I cant.

We woke up this morning in the 40's here in central Florida. Was watching the evening news just now and it's 48 degrees. As for a swim suit, the pools at Disney are heated to AT LEAST 74 degrees. Some of the pools feel more like hot tubs than swimming pools, and some of the pools feel like they are 74 degrees...brrr. We stayed at Pop for the weekend last Feb and the pool at the 80's and 90's bld was very warm, like bath tub water. We stayed at POR in Dec and the theme pool felt very cold, but the quiet pool between blds 90 and 95 felt great.

Darn it...I better get on my knees and aks God to push this cold front OUT! Even with the pools heated, my kiddos are to little to be running around wet in 60 degree weather.
boo hiss whine! :goodvibes :sunny: I am hoping!!!

We're going the 12th-17th and I just looked at the weather. I'm really hoping it warms a bit... Need a little more :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
