Hi all: I am taking my 7 year old to FL this year and need some help planning . We are only staying for 4 nights and 3 days and want to take good advantage of our time. We want to spend 1 day at Universal, 1 day at Legoland and one night at Disney for the "Not so Scary Party". Can I purchase 1 day passes for these parks? Are there any "inter-park" passes?

Thanks for your help.

The only "inter-park" ticket I'm aware of is the Orlando Flex Ticket. It's for both Universal parks (Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure), Wet & Wild, SeaWorld, Aquatica, and optionally Busch Gardens Tampa. Probably not going to help you much.

Universal and Legoland do both sell one-day tickets. At Universal, you have the choice of a 1-day park-to-park ticket (which includes both of their parks) or a 1-day-1-park ticket for either park. At Legoland, you have the choice of including their water park or not.

Mickey's Not So Scary is a stand-alone ticket and doesn't require a regular Magic Your Way ticket on top of it. It will allow you access to the Magic Kingdom starting at or around 4pm on your chosen party night, assuming that the standard practice doesn't change this year.

If you only have one day at Disney, I'd skip the party and do a full day at Magic Kingdom on a non-party day. I'd get there early, stay late and just do a lot.
I've never been to Universal but have you checked the height requirements on the attractions? Is your child tall enough to ride most things?

Even with height requirements, there will be enough things to do at Universal and Islands for a day.
I agree that the MK might be a better day spent than the party also.
I'm not as knowledgable on Legoland but some people like it.

Legoland is great for little ones. There are almost zero height requirements there, and they are coming out with a new Lego Movie experience. They also have a Halloween event and give out Legos! Plus there is the new lego themed hotel there too. It's pretty far away though, so I think if you want to stay late, I would stay one night. Not needed, but it is a distance from the parks. As you drive there, stop at Davidson of Dundee for yummy citrus candy, coconut spread, honey and jams. Iz goodz.
And don't stop at Dinosaur land. Trust me.

Is your heart set on this plan? The reason I ask, Is that you say that you "want to take advantage of your time" . There are 4 parks right on Disney property. The multiway ticket to Disney does give you "multi-park admission" A 3 day adult ticket is $290.

I would recommend a full day at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom for a 7 year old.

A few other tidbits....I recommend Legoland first. It might be a letdown after Universal and Disney. It's less than an hour from Disney if you're not up for changing hotels. At Universal, you will need a park-to-park ticket (gets you in both US and IOA the same day) if you want to ride the Hogwarts Express as it spans the two parks. And while I positively adore the Halloween party, OP is right--if you really want to maximize your time, you're better off just doing all day. Have fun!

As an aside, ticket price for the Halloweeen party have not yet been announced, however they have announced a 3 hour after party in April and May. They are charging $150 for this event. I have a strong feeling that people will have sticker shock when they announce the party ticket prices this year.
