Hey gang,
I noticed that Florida Tours is no longer a DIS board sponsor. I have a trip booked with them in September/October should I be concerned? I ahve never used them before and now I am concerned.

We've used them twice with no problems, the most recent was Feb 2007. I didn't realize they were no longer a sponsor though.

I don't think I would be concerned. If you go to their site you will see that they say they are DIS approved. I don't think that's a play on words, although it looks like it.
Unless you hear otherwise, go ahead with your plans. I'm trying to find out the official stand here. I'll let you all know as soon as I hear something.

We have always rented a car to get to the ship but wanted to try them this time and be more relaxed.

If it makes you feel any better we just used FL tours last week for transportation from MCO to Swan and back - no problems whatsoever! Our drivers were very pleasant and punctual. Great experience!

Several of us have seen the info regarding this on the Florida official site that Lewisc linked to. It seems that that area of the system is not available at the moment, but we have seen the info, so believe it to be true.

The link was posted last week. That's all I know. My guess is we'll see some kind of official announcement sooner rather then later.

Well I had no idea who owned them but I can tell you

They were on time, Driver was nice and pleasant, and I would use them again in a heartbeat!!

No, not cruising DCL this year. Just a plain 'ol trip to WDW. It's been 2 years since we visited the World!

Dreams Unlimited is owned by Pete/Dis and posters are allowed to mention other TAs. I'd hope (and would expect) DIS would continue to allow posters to mention other transportation companies.
