Florida title insurance cost?

Lender's title insurance: we have been pre-approved for a home loan in Florida, but have been quoted appx $3000.00 for title insurance on a $200k home, mortgage amount of $100k. Is this normal or is it high?

That sounds high. It should be just over $1K as I understand it ($5.75 per $1000 last I recall). There must be other fees in there besides title insurance, ? closing costs.
