Hi I was wondering if any DIS-ers could let me know if they had experienced any very severe storms in Orlando whilst on holiday between November 2010 and January 2011?

The reason I ask is that we have a house in Orlando which we rent out and when we weren't having any money paid into our account from our agent we called to find out why. She says that she is having to keep the money herself as in the recent storms (which we knew nothing about) £4000 worth of damage was done. Even during hurricaines in the past, the damage done has never totalled this amount. We are quite annoyed as we had insurance which would have covered all of these expenses, but now, in retrospect won't as she didn't let us know at the time so we could claim. It's a difficult situation as we don't know if she is telling the truth. In the past, she has held back money for painting/decorating etc and when we have been at the house we have not been happy with the standard of decor only to find out she got her boyfriend to do it . She does work for a major national US Real Estate Company so we thought we were doing the right thing asking her to take on our property, she was also personally recommended to us. We have had the house for 15 years and have had some very negative experiences with letting agents over the years unfortunately.

None in the first 2 weeks of november as far as I know its just been cold have not heard of any storms but £4000 worth of damage :scared1:
