Can anyone give their experience regarding what proof they utilized relating to both a florida resident ticket ( likely the current Fla resident Discovery ticket offer) for a family member. Here's the scenario. I am a new a Seasonal Florida Resident ((Yeah), my college aged ds lives with us both here and at our other location ( out of state). He is obviously not listed on any utility bill or anything related to the home. His drivers license ( as is mine) is out of state, no accts here ( banking etc) tho there is a branch here, now that I think of it.
I want to take advantage of the Florida Discover Ticket and a fla Room discount ( we ll be sharing a room, ) the question is, HOW, for the ds?
I tried the online chat on disney site, they said busy... I emailed them 2 days ago thou the link, and asked for help...no response yet.
I read somewhere here on Dis that someone got a note notarized as a parent indicating their child/ student lived with them .

Does anyone have any first hand experience with this? I re -read the Florida seasonal resident info and no help there,
TIA!!

If he wants to get the FL resident discount he would need banking information sent to his FL residence- it can be an out of state bank but the billing/statement address must be the FL residence- short of that he does not have any proof he is a resident unless he chooses to change his license and he would need more than that for a FL driver's license as they have even harder residency and proof of who you are requirements than Disney.

Only 1 of you needs to be a resident for the room discount- it is the ticket that he needs his own proof of residency to get- anyone over 18 needs to present their own license and proof of residency if the license is out of state.
