Florida seasonal pass

we plan on purchasing seasonal/silver passes. Can I buy those at the window or is that something that much be purchased in advance. Also if I purchase at window, will they give me the bands along with the pass or does that get mailed to me. Thanks.

Disney makes buying stuff pretty easy, so yes you can purchase passes there. Passholders get their Magicbands shipped after the first trip.

the band will get mailed to you I had mine before I came home form my 6 day trip

I think you can buy the pass at the gate not too sure you can get it on line and it will not be active until the day you use it if you pay all up front

Unless things have changed with the price/format, my understanding is that passes that are purchased AT DISNEY are active immediately...those purchased online are not active until used for the first time. I'd be sure to clarify that before purchasing if you aren't going to use it immediately.

As of February when I got my pass I was told that if I pay for it all up front it started the day I used it if I did the payment plan it started with my first payment I am not sure if just FL residents can do the payment plan or not. Again this is what I was told when I got my AP on February

I have done both the payment plan and paid in full. I always renew at the 60 days till expiration date. In both instances, the new pass was not activated until I turned in the voucher at the park.
