I googled "discover disney florida residents" and I got the results shown on the screen shot below. The link doesn't work, but the text description is for 2019. Can anyone confirm that these are coming back? If they are coming back, does anyone know when they will be available to purchase?

I hope these get announced soon. We are booked at our DVC resort for the end of January and I want to buy our park tickets and book our Fastpasses.

I can't get your link to show up when I google. And I even type in exactly what it says above starting with Florida Residents. It looks to me though, if it were to start, it would be sometime in early January as from the other links I see in my google search, it was announced January 5th of this year. And Jan. 5th of 2017.

For the last however many years, I've used the Discover Disney passes, and usually with an on-site hotel stay for a mini vacation. Anyway, the deal usually starts popping up, without the Discover Disney official name when you try to book a hotel in the usual Jan-June date range as a FL resident, and today, it finally popped up for me. Valid dates are Jan 4-Jun 30. They've always popped up in this same way, pre-January, as that is usually when I book. It eventually rolls over to the normal Discover Disney name (I know one year they called it Wild 4 Disney, and one year they didn't do it at all for whatever reason), and it will be available outside of a hotel/ticket package the first week of January.

They want $1045.38 for 2 adults, 3 kids. That includes tax. It is 938.88 for 3 days, so as usual, $20 more for the 4th day. It is exactly $106.50 difference for the 4th day. So $20/ticket, plus tax of 6.5% to get to the $106.50. Guessing at official costs here, because I have it included in a hotel reservation which I think sometimes changes exact ticket prices by a few dollars but taking the 6.5% tax out, possibilities of either $195ish for all the tickets regardless of age, or perhaps they've crossed the $200 mark and are doing something like $209 for adults, $189 for kids. We shall see if this all pans out in a few days but it's looking good for the 2019s to kick in in my humble opinion.

Currently listed as 4 Day Florida Resident Promo Ticket when booking a resident hotel at the same time.

Oh wow! Ok.. We are booked at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, let me call them see if we could book those passes now.

Good luck! I'm not sure if they'll be able to add it over the phone for existing reservations before the official release launch date but hopefully they can! Fingers crossed for you. :)

All I hope is that it allows use over a longer period of time as it has previously. I’m worried how the new ticket system with fixed start dates is going to impact these types of FL Resident tickets.

I just did a pretend booking as I'm not going till June. It comes out to be about $120 cheaper than when I book everything separately! And that's WITH Memory Maker too! Now the only thing is, when you book a package, you have to pay in full don't you?

Looks like the ticket is good till the end of June.

I always put the whole thing on my Disney Visa, so 0% for 6 months. You have to pay a deposit the day of (I think it's usually $200?) and then however you choose to pay it from there but you get 0% at least for the six months. :)

Edit to add, that I think regardless of what card you use, you only pay deposit day of. I can't totally remember how it works if you aren't using a Disney Visa... I think the balance is due at some point before checkin, I've never honestly paid attention because I was 0% so it didn't much matter to me when it was added to the card.

We have a reservation at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at the end of January. I tried calling to see if we could get the passes earlier since we are staying at a resort, but they told me that they are not available yet. I hope they announce them soon. Fastpasses are going quick.

But in @Admiral JacBar post above and mine, the ticket IS available when we go to book our rooms. Perhaps it's not released yet separate from a package?

Just found this on Google:

Sadly, I’m a newbie to this forum, so I can’t add a link apparently, but this deal popped up as a Facebook ad for me this morning. Discover Disney tickets are going to be $175 plus tax for three days. The link is not live yet though, but I think you could probably get it if you call them. Wonder how much it’ll be with park hopper?

Any details on how long you can use them? Not expiration of the tickets but if they can be used non-consecutively over a longer period of time?

I wish I could link you there, but you could go to the Walt Disney World Facebook page and take a look for yourself. It’s a post that showed up December 28. The text of it says “New year, now even more magic. Celebrate with a Florida resident Discover Disney ticket. Three days for $175 plus tax. One theme park per day.”

I looked on the website and chatted with a cast member but there are no details there yet. I think the details were released on January 4 or 5 last year.

I already posted in my reply above, but here it is again.

Hmmm.... the $209 price point is quite a bit higher than the post I saw. ‍♀️

I priced another resort stay for one person, and it was 209.09 for the 4 day, so roughly 195+tax. In the past, kids have been less, usually $20, so 175 potentially for kids.

And for those who are curious, the details literally only says this:

I guess we’ll have to wait and see! Hope it’s official soon, though, since I’m traveling in 2.5 weeks!

My trip isn't till June, so I'm good with waiting. Hoping you hear something soon. Are you just going to book your FPs once you get there? I've heard many success stories of it being done that way.
