How long do you have to live in Florida to get the resident discount? We just moved down this month and have our new DL and utilities bills.

I'm sure others will correct me if I am wrong, but I do not believe there is any length-of-residency requirement. You just need to show proof of residency, which your new Florida DL will provide.

When I moved to FL, the first thing we did after unpacking was get a FL driver's license and head down to Disney. We couldn't wait!

The Florida ID is available with a birth certificate and other ID. You can get it in about 5 minutes (plus your wait time)
