I'm thinking of purchasing the Florida Resident Weekday Pass..as I understand it..I can go to any one of the parks on Monday through Friday, it does not include the parking fee, and is valid for 1 year from the date it is first used.
Does anyone know if I can park hop with this? My other question is where or how can I purchase it, because I'd like to purchase it, but not use it until later on during our vacation. My reasoning is..we're going this year but we are also going in May, and again next fall. Our vacation next fall is earlier, so if I plan it right - I could have another day or two at the parks.
Can anyone help with information? Thank you in Advance...barb

You can only purchase them if you are a Florida Resident. Having said that, yes you can hop :).

You can order your tickets over the phone, and they won't start the countdown till you arrive at the gate and pick up the actual ticket.

Park Hopper is included to the 4 parks. It'll expire the same date the following year, so you have 366 days to use the pass.

All persons over the age of 18 must provide proof of Florida Residency, which can be found on the site. Any ticket for some one under 18, must be accompanied by an adult's FL ID. Meaning, a non-FL resident can not buy FL tickets for their children. However say a grandparent or aunt/uncle that is a FL resident and purchasing their own tickets, may purchase FL resident tickets for any minor.

1. It is for Florida Residents only. It seems that you live in Texas.

2. I would suggest you go to the locked sticky Everything about WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum. You can get to it by clicking on the link in my signature. The normal Annual Pass Rules apply, including all discounts. As you said, it does not include parking. Also, in addition to validity on Mondays through Fridays only, it is subject to the same blockout dates as the Florida Resident Seasonal Pass.

3. If you purchase it online or by phone you will either get a voucher/certificate or it will be set up for will-call. In either situation you can go to any Park (including water parks, TTC or DTD) ticket or Guest Relations window to get the live pass. At that time you must be able to show proof of Florida Residency. And the pass will be good for a full year beginning on the date you get the actual live pass. Also you can buy it at any window in person and it will immediately be active.

4. I would suggest in the sticky you look at Posts #3, 4, 7, 18-A and 18-C.

for pointing me in the right direction. We're snow birds and so have the residency thing - we just don't live in the Orlando area.
At 60 odd years old..I don't really go on the rides and things..just mainly enjoy the atmosphere - my DH can't go anymore because of health reasons. It's nice to know that I can count on my DisFriends for the answers that I need.
Thanks again..barb

My mother did this (she is also a snowbird and considered a FL resident due to it). She loved it - basically the cost was that after 2 days the rest of the year was free. She avoided weekends and the other blackout dates anyway (I think there was 3 other weeks of blackout dates...not completely sure) due to crowds.

One time they even let her park for free (NOT normal - I think the gate person was just being a nice guy that day...lol).

VERY worth it!!!
