Florida resident tickets

Does any Florida part timer have any experience with buying resident APs and/or 4 day passes? This will be my first time doing annual passes and such, and to my understanding I only need to bring a passport, a couple bank statements and a cell phone bill, and for my wife the same. Is that correct?

Something current with a florida address should be more than enough. I think I used a water bill when I first moved here and didn't have my id changed over yet.

My husband and I just use our Texas IDs and mortgage statement reflecting our address in Florida. Easy peasy. Have been doing it for years.

You need your ID and one recent bill that indicates homeownership in name with the Florida address. Tax bill, mortgage, water, electric, cable, basically something that confirms you own property. Last year I think we used the cable bill for DW and the water bill for me.

I bought Fl resident 4 day hoppers for our trip that was 2 weeks ago. I bought them on line and had to go to guest services to activate them.

I brought our bank statement with our Florida address on it and we used our NJ licenses for identification.

I had my homeowners insurance bill too but they only needed one for proof of residency.

You do need to bring statements that show both your names (bank statement was in both names).

Very easy.

(Another thing we did at the same time was prioritize our passes because we have non-expiration tickets tied to our account. )

my cousins upgraded a one day ticket to a 4 day Fl pass at the park. They showed their Fl driver's licenses and it was enough.

All the proof of residency stuff applies to people who don't have a FL license or ID, because they've recently moved or they only live here part time or they just never changed their license because our DMV system is a nightmare.

I had the opposite experience - I thought Florida's system made NYC look absolutely competent!

I thought about going to the Florida DMV and getting a state ID, but apparently there is a new law called RealID that does not allow you to have a DL from one state and a state ID from another. That said, IL does not participate in the RealID so since it seems pretty simple to just walk up with a bank statement and my IL DL, and leave everything else as is.

Same - never had a problem with an out of state license and an in-state bank statement.
