Florida resident rates out as well!

I called for ressies using my AP discount and got Pop Century for $49 December 25 for 6 nights. I asked for advice getting a similar deal for my parents who don't have AP's and she asked if they live in Florida too. She checked and said FL resident rates came out this morning too and got my parents 3 nights arriving December 26th for a total of $164 including tax, or the same as the AP rate. Btw, I waited for almost an hour to get through!

Yes, I called about this too but the AP rates and FL resident rates are designated for the same block of rooms so still no availability for me.

You're welcome. Halfway there, I don't know what your dates are, but I noticed on Mary's site that sometimes Disney puts out last minute special rates on Disney.com. Btw, if you are talking about September, I think it's really strange there aren't any good rates for that time. Usually September, January and part of February I count on good deals.

Disney virtually NEVER offers last-minute discounts at WDW.

I'm looking for Oct 16-19 and apparently everybody in the entire world is going then and they're all staying at WL too! I had to pick the most popular resort at the most popular time....

It's on Mousesaver's under historical data. I guess it was last year there were Christmastime discounts put out on the Disney site in November, I think. Honest. It's there unless I'm hallucinating.

Okay, I checked and that info is there along with another last minute discount from August so call off the men with the white coats.
Halfway there, you really did pick a busy time to be there. That's when all the teachers in the state have conferences, etc., and schools are closed. I've never had any luck with that weekend either. Good luck to you just the same.

I believe you Kay1! And thanks for the info...

I guess I was crazy to think I could get into a deluxe that weekend. I've gone twice before at that time but thinking back on it now, I could only get into the All Stars and the Swan so that should have told me something. I ended up booking a weekend in Nov for a great rate at the WL and still during the F&WF (which was the only reason I was going). Although having the kids out of school for that one extra day would have been nice.

Maybe those white coats will be after me now....
