Florida resident rates in Jan. or Feb?

I know the FRR for September were great...we had a Cat. 5 room for a lesser price then what we had booked for a Cat. 9. Does anyone know if they usually have FRR for January or Feburary? We are thinking of taking another cruise instead of buying Christmas presents. TIA

I'm waiting also. Typically I have seen them come out in Jan. not sure about Feb.
Check the Allseastravel.com, when they come out they will be posted there and I'm sure on the DIS as well.

I have been told (several times) to check in late October or early November for FRR for our January cruise. They said that the rates typically come out around 2 months before the sailing month.

When I called the other day about my reservation (1/4/05) the CM told me to start calling once per week begining next week.

I wonder if this means there will not be resident rates for my Nov 13 Eastern cruise. With people who had to rebook due to Hurricanes, I figure the ships may be full already.

Thats what we did this year. We had a date already reserved and when the rates were released, I called DCL and got upgraded to a Cat. 5 and saved $120.00 from the original price. I'm signed up for DCL emails to be sent to me and when I received it, it was resident rates for a 7 day. Then I started reading on here about people getting it for the 3 and 4 day so I called them up. So you can sign up for the email updates, you'll read it here or you can also check www.allseastravel.com, they have a resident rates section also.

We got great FL resident rates a couple of weeks ago for a Jan cruise.

Hi! The Jan./Feb. 2005 FRR came out about a month ago.

I got an email from All Seas Travel about them. I booked directly through DCL and got the same rate. You can check the All Seas website and see the rates.

i got a great discount and upgrade for last sept. I actually got the email directly from dcl. But last month I didn't receive any notice and found out thru this board and got my frr and upgrade for jan.

Can a FL resident book more than one cabin?

I'm asking because my sister lives in FL and sometimes we vacation with her.

As it was explained to me by DCL, the 'lead' on the reservation must be a FL resident. Therefore, the main adult in the stateroom must be a FL resident.

When I first made our reservations for two staterooms, I booked them both under my name with my address. Our stateroom is my husb. & me & the 2nd is my mom & son. The CM told me that I should change the reservation to my mom's name & address by final payment so that HER address will be on the reserv. & there will be no problems at check-in or with customs. My mom is a FL res., too, though, so I don't know how that would apply to your situation, unless your sister could put the reserv. in her name.

I would call DCL & double-check on everything.

i booked all our ressies in my husband and my daughters names. all the docs came to my home address and i asked dcl if this would pose a problem at the port as the addresses on the dl and pasports were not mine. We were told no problem. and we didn't have any.

I was told by the CM at DCL that only the lead name on the reserv. had to be a Florida resident - not everyone in the stateroom.

However, it appears that arlenesp & I were told two different things about the addresses. I was told specifically that my mom's address HAD to be on the reservation & I know I didn't misunderstand the CM because I DIDN'T WANT her address on it because then I knew the final payment info. would be mailed to my mom & I didn't want it to be.

Now, it appears that I could've left it just as I had it before, since arlenesp didn't have any problems.

Just two weeks ago, we booked a 3 night cruise on the Wonder in January with the FL Resident Rate. It worked out cheaper for a category 5 than we were planning to pay for a category 11.

Just booked a Jan cruise with FRR and was told only one person (myself) had to be a resident, as the others in the cabin arent.
