Pardon my ignorance on this-we finally got Florida resident passes for Universal and I have a question about the express pass. If you have an annual pass, do you still have to pay the extra for express passes? If so, how much are they and are they really worth the extra $$$?

Yes you still have to pay for express pass onless you stay onsite or ifyou bought the premier pass then after 4 pm its free.

It depends upon when you go. Right now...no...during a busy time...yes. The cardinal rule is wait until you arrive and see how the crowds are...then make up your mind. If you check the website, it will tell you the pricing based on the anticipated crowd levels. If the Express Passes are $25.99...it's a slow day but if they are $50.99 (these prices are for the 2 park EP) it's a busy time and might be worth it.

Not for nothing-but that certainly adds to the price of your ticket. We're so used to the fast pass at WDW coming with our AP without additional charge that I really doubt we'd ever do express. I guess they figure that since we live here we can go during off-peak times, which is true-except for when you have visitors during those peak times.
