Does anyone know if you can buy the 3 day Florida resident passes at the All Star resort or do we all have to go to Downtown Disney. There are 14 of us and it would be so much easier to get them when we check in. Do we all have to go to Downtown Disney or can one of us bring everyone's driver's license? Thanks for your help.

Yes, you can buy this pass at the resort. They will just add the tickets to your room card key. It is very easy to do this.

THe only type of tickets that are not sold at the resorts are the seasonal/annual/premium passes. Those have to be purchased at the gate of a park, OR a guest relations counter - which is found at the side of the entrance to each park, or at downtown disney. If at the end of your stay, you decide to upgrade your pass, you can do that at guest services.

Good luck! and have fun!!! :wizard:

Have you done this? My husband called Disney and they said we had to go to Downtown Disney. I sure hope you're right!

All adult FL resident passes must be validated before use. This must be done at Guest Services at a THEME PARK or at Downtown Disney. This is Disney's policy. While you could probably purchase the FL resident 3 Day Play pass at the resort, you would still need to validate it at the park or at Downtown Disney.

In June we purchased the 3 day FL res pass at the guest services desk at Pop. We walked right in the park with them, no need to do anything extra.

Now, if you were to buy 14 passes by yourself, the extra 13 people may need to validate them since they were't there to show their ID when purchased. DH and I were together, flashed our ID's when we bought them and were ready to go.

Same situation for me in Oct, bought the 3 day FL pass at the desk in AKL though, and didn't have to do anything else other than go to the park to go in :thumbsup2

1) I am not sure who is giving you the info.
2) But, the Florida 3-day or other ticket, facts are
. . . Florida tickets can be bought at resorts, parks or downtown disney
. . . there is no "activation"
. . . they are usable immediately
3) The other variety of ticket is the advance-sale FL Discount ticket voucher
. . . AAA vouchers for Florida tickets can also be traded-in at resorts
. . . you convert the green voucher for a ticket
. . . after conversion you can use them for park admission

NOTE: Florida "Annual Passes" or "Seasonal Passes" can ONLY be activated at parks or downtown disney. This may be the confusion point.

We bought ours at the concierge desk at Pop this past weekend. Let me say this though. The concierge line was really long and we had to wait a good 15-20 mins. Depending on what time you are planning to go to the park you might have a shorter wait there.

This is half right. You can buy the ticket at your resort, however due to some computer glitch you can't put FL ressident tickets on the room key. I know sounded weird to me too, but when I went to POFQ with my mom in August they told her they couldn't put her 3-day play pass on her room key. She was however able to buy it at the resort. :thumbsup2
