Hello everyone, we currently have a room booked at Art of Animation for September 10-15. I saw that the Florida Resident rates were put up for those dates and I was thinking about switching to a room at the French Quarter. It shows up as being available online but when I called to change the reservation over they told me that they could not see any room available at any resort under that discount or those dates. Does anyone know why I can see the rooms available on the website but the Disney booking agents can't see it available on their end?

If I were you I would book it online, pay your one night deposit and see what happens. The worst that happens is that its an error and they will refund you, the best is that for some reason they couldn't see it and you can then cancel your AoA reservation. I've done this a few times when its popped up online... it could be that there are no more rooms.

I had a similar problem when I tried to add one night to a reservation a few years ago. I could see a room available for the night we wanted to add, but the CM on the phone could not, said there was no availability at the resort for that night. As she suggested, I went ahead and booked it online as a seperate night and it worked out fine.

I have also been able to change my rate online from a general public offer to either a Florida Resident or Annual Passholder rate, when not all booked nights were showing as available online, but when I did a change reservation online, it gave me the rates for all booked nights.

I am still hoping for a Florida resident room only rate over Labor Day.

We were holding out for a one night at POR before Poly in June. I had All Star Sport and switched at like 3 am to POR the morning before check in. When I got to POR they didn't have my reservation and had to get the supervisor. They said they were booked but I showed the reservation, they called the back office, and got me the room.
