I was looking at the Universal Orlando website and in the fine print for the Florida resident rates, it states that a valid FL or GA driver's license must be presented at check-in. So, does this mean that GA residents can get the discounted rate also? Anyone have experience with this?

Yes, GA residents can book that rate too.

Yes, an operator for Universal told me that Ga and AL residents can get the FL rates. Sometimes you have to keep checking for those rates to open up though.

I've checked many many many times and have never been able to get the rate during the weekend...which of course is when GA/AL/FL residents would probably want to go. Good luck!

Was able to get it for first weekend in June, June 2nd - 4th. The rate was $20 higher for weekend night, but still got $169 for HRH standard.

That's great! We have a villa booked for that week, but I'd love to add a night or two on-site. Thanks for the info.

Good luck! We are at the Dolphin over at WDW 5/27 - 6/2, then moving to HRH for the last two nights of our vacation.
