Florida Res Discounts in late February?

We are recent Florida transplants and would like to go the last week in February, but are wondering if WDW ever offers FL REs Discounts during peak periods? Any other Floridians out there who could answer this one for us?

I thought there were always FL resident discounts??? I'm not sure. I would recommend checking mousesavers for info.

Thanks so much, the Mousesavers site was really helpful. It gave me dates from last year that FL res discounts came out. I realize it may be different this year, but it helps!

They usually always give some kind of FL discount, I believe. Obviously more during different periods. TI think there are, however, black-outs on which resorts they offer them for. I know you can't get one for Coronado Springs, for example, or the ASmovies. Not sure about the deluxes or home away from home resorts.

There is not always a discount for a WDW resort based solely on Florida Residency. From time to time WDW offers Florida Resident specials that involve reduced rates for certain resorts.

If you have an AP you can add those specials to your chances, as well as if you have a DC card, or other mechanism for a special.

The local paper (throughout the state) will tell you of any current resident specials, or you can phone Disney and ask about resident specials. Of course you can also use this board and the many others that offer reduced rate/specials info!
