We've lived in FL for 14 years and have never been to the Keys. We're thinking about taking a trip down there this summer. It would be DH38, Me38, and DS13. What are the "must sees" in the Keys, please? ;)

Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo, definitely. That's where the reef is, offshore.

Isn't there a great place for snorkeling with kids?

The Dry Tortugas state park/Fort Jefferson is AMAZING! You have to take a two hour (or so) boat ride to get there, but it is soo worth it!

If your son is into history at all, it's a very unique history lesson. The Fort was used as a prison, Dr. Mudd (who set John Wilkes Booth's broken leg) was sent there.

Also, for bird watchers, there's a bird refuge on an island that's part of the Tortugas.

Key deer
Key West Sandle company, Key West Aloe, Key West Aquarium. Key West is neat in general.

Key West!

I think the drive down to Key West is the best must see. It's beautiful scenery, going over bridges with unbelievable water views on both sides.
