Afternoon all.
We couldnt afford a honeymoon right after the wedding so the wife and I opted to have one over her birthday in november. After original thoughts of the carribean we opted for a more fun filled honeymoon and chose Orlando.
I've been twice before ('98 '02) and this will be my wifes first time.
we wanted to stay in universal itself but the under occupancy made this extremely pricey so we opted with the crowne plaza universal just off I-Drive. this puts us a $10 taxi ride to USO and gives us the option to wander down I-Drive at night also.
while we plan to go to disney the main part of our holiday will be repeat visits to universal. Disneys great n all but i much prefer the overal quality of rides etc at universal, and the close proximity of city walk.
We arrive 30th of october and have already purchased the tickets for universal that take us up to 14 consecutive days including access to W&W and Sea world. im also planning to pick up tickets for the HHN on the 31st, as im a real scare/thrill junky and we both think the HHN looks amazing.
having been twice before i have a good handle on the various rides and layout of the parks however theres a few questions i still have.
1. i've been reading about universal express plus that can be purchased. i cant seem to find it online so is it available in advance for parks or is it an on the day in the park only thing?
2. how much does it cost?
3. is it worth purchasing for such a late season time of year?
4. on the HHN website the express tickets are supposedly available for the HHN's. are these purchasable in advance? if so where from and how much?
and finally 5. any extra advice that you can give a fairly experienced park goer to make his first time there with his new wife go even better.
many thanks guys n gals. been reading your site all day and picked up some great info already
