Florida AP question

We just moved to FL and are planning on getting the seasonal ap since we don't like going during crowded times and don't have any children still living at home. My question is that DS and DDIL will be coming down to Orlando the week Labor Day. We are planning to meet them the second week they are there and are all going to MNSSHP the first Friday it is on. According to what I have read, we will only get a voucher when we purchase our AP. Is there anyway to get the MNSSHP tickets with the AP discount before we turn in our voucher? I am worried that the tickets will sell out before we get our voucher exchanged for a pass which we plan to do the day before the party. Also, as I understand it, we can book FP reservations with the voucher but cannot get Magic Bands. Is this correct? We do not have on-site lodging reservations. Thanks.
