I'm in need of a Disney fix, which isn't easy in December in Ohio. We used to have a Disney Store in Dayton, but it closed last year. The closest store to us now is in Florence, Kentucky, which would be a 1 1/2 hour drive for us. Can anyone fill me in on this store? Would it be worth the drive? Thanks! :santa:

it's not a big store ... but as far as it being worth the drive for you? only you know that one, LOL!

I guess it might depend upon what you're looking for. I haven't been there in awhile, but I remember it having mostly kid clothes, stuffed toys and other toy items (pirate swords, dress up tiaras, play sets?)

I'm never in the market for those things. I like the coffee mugs, figurines, snowglobes, type of stuff. That is pretty limited and adult sized clothing is limited as well.

The store is on the smallish side, I think.

There used to be a Disney store at the Cincinnati Airport also. I think it was called Destination Disney or something like that. I have no idea if it's still there, but it would be in the area if you're going to Florence.

I googled it and here is a phone number you can call to see if they are still open - (606)767-1707

Anyway, I thought it might have some different items from the usual Disney Store.

That store closed a long long time ago! That was my first Disney mgmt job when it opened in early 1996.
