does disney floral do floral preservation? what are you girls doing with your bouquet afterwards? i want to have mine preserved...

I know they offered it two years ago...and I just did a google search and it seems Keepsake Floral is who does it (I suppose this website could be wrong/out of date).

Anyway, it was something I wanted to do but didn't because it was so expensive. I know there were a couple of brides here who have done it and were very happy with the results.

In the end, I let mine just dry naturally and I have it in a display cabinet.

Sometimes I think I want to have a vow renewal just to get another bouquet!;)

Disney still refers brides to Keepsake Floral. I went with a silk bouquet partially for that reason. No one could tell the flowers were silks and now it is in my curio looking fantastic.

Disney does offer via Keepsake Floral. I will tell you that it is very very pricey. They do beautiful work, but from what I heard, the price just keeps adding up and up when you go to make your decisions after you have put down your deposit. I think if you decide not to, they may keep the deposit. You would have to check on that one. On the upside, they will pick up your bouquet from Disney so you don't have to do anything. Shelli, where did you get your curio? I have mine in silk and I need to put them in something. We did have fresh for our wedding. I love the fresh floral though!

Hi,

I have just had my floral preservation from Keepsake Floral and am delighted with it. It took about 16 weeks for it to come but was worth the wait. Im from the UK and didnt want to just have my flowers destroyed. Yes it is expensive but was worth the money to me.

Hi,

The floral preservation was $362 + $85 to have it sent which is abit much as it only comes via Parcelforce but it was packaged very well no way could it have got damaged. Remember that on top the of the postage you have the custom tax etc this side to pay, mine was £64 so it does all add up but was still worth it to me.

Hi,

If you PM me with your email address I will gladly send a pic of before and after over, I dont know how to upload a picture directly onto the boards.

Thanks.

I had my bouquet preserved after my DFW in Nov. 2005. All my flowers were done by Disney. Right after we did our entrance into the reception the Disney Florist took my bouquet (at my request) and Keepsake Floral picked it up from there. I had them create a shadowbox for me. In the shadowbox was my bouquet, our place cards (mine with my married name), my husbands flower and a hankie that was special to me. My bouquet was preserved as a bouquet resemblance. I kept my order to the basics that they included in the basic price and didn't add any extras. My frame was 12 x 16. I believe the cost was between 500.00 to 600.00. It turned out beautiful. I love it. It was worth the money because Disney did such a great job on my flowers.

i used keepsake floral and only decided the morning of the wedding. I am so happy i made the decision - however hard to handle the cost was. There is something special about lookng at the flowers we both wore on our wedding day. And something can be passed down through generations. So i was very pleased. I had disney take my flowers...store them and keepsake picked them up and began the process. we had a phone planning session about 1 month later to decide what i wanted.

Luvndisney,

Your flowers are beautiful! Keepsake Floral did a great job :thumbsup2. Was it easy to work them in getting what you wanted?

thanks. yes they were veyr easy to work with. i used their website to look at what i wanted though. I had a pretty clear idea in my mind of what i wanted. They did an excellent job. here's my only advice: make the decision well ahead of your trip. I waited til the last minutes...and was told it would be no big deal...it was. From disney;s end they messed up a lot. They left my bouquet and then couldn't find it at the GF and it was there for 1 week with nothing done. I was lucky it turned out ok.
