Keep in mind this doesn't mean that I got everything that I wanted. I am also reusing arrangements multiple times. The way I got away with that is by using Disney floral. The other thing I did is made some of my own items to "plus" the event. I did not rent that many items from Disney Floral. Just the coach and a hurricane shade for the ceremony, ohh and the covered chairs for Epcot (I couldn't do the plastic free ones).
These are what is going to sit on the table.
I made 56 or so of them for about $140 and then bought my own mind julep cups for about $7 a piece and had them shipped to Disney to use.
I think the reason, and I did price around, I went with Disney is that they could get the multitude of different types of flowers/colors I wanted the cheapest( I am using 2 or 3 different colors of roses, calla lilies, and hydrangeas). I also went with what was in season! I think it was cheaper b/c they order in bulk, not just for one event at a time. This is supposition on my end though.
When you guys see the pictures you will notice the flowers used at the rehearsal dinner moved to the reception and were changed up a bit. The wrapped cylinders and mint julep cups went to the dessert party. That is the bonus of using Disney Floral it gave me more "bang" for my buck.
Make sure to be honest with your Floral person when you meet with them the first time. Your first proposal will be a "wish" type list and you will go into shock. Meet with them and see what you can do to make it the same feel and more manageable. I found that they were more than willing to work with me and come up with ideas. Laura has be fabulous, and I just trust her to make it right.
