I'm dressing up with two other women from my office who are Disney nuts for Halloween this year. While we went through several different ideas, we ended up with the Three Good Fairies from Sleeping Beauty. :dance3:

Does anyone have a pattern for creating these costumes? One of the "fairies" is able to sew us dresses, but we don't really have patterns. Other ideas will also be accepted, if you don't have a pattern, per se (I thought, perhaps, of creating poodle skirts with matching tops?). We'll also need capes, small wings, hats and wands.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide - we're hoping to win our office's contest, and Disney is (obviously) the way to go!

Magically,

I could imagine this dress but without the flowing sleeves:

because it has the inlay, like they have.

The hats you can just use the traditional witch hat and tack some fabric on top of it!

small wings can be found in a children's costume area. find ones that are made for toddlers and they will be the right size. if the arm straps are too small, detatch them and sew them to your costume or make new straps which shouldn't really be too tough...

wands sometimes come w/ the wings...

This is listed for men but the cape looks right:

go down to "collection of capes"

Good luck!
