Hello All! We're staying at the Fairfield Inn 9/28-10/3 and I'm curious if any of you have advice on floors/rooms I should avoid. Last time I stayed was in '96 when it was a Ramada so I'm thinking (hoping) some things have changed. Our only other Disney trip was in 2012 and we stayed at
the Ramada Maingate. Thanks!

I would probably ask for a room on an upper floor (basically any floor but the first). For me, that's a standard request (it has nothing to do with the Fairfield specifically). At the Fairfield (and many other motels), the parking spaces are right outside of the first floor rooms, so I try to avoid the first floor because of the noise from the cars, the headlights that can shine directly into your room when cars arrive/depart at night, etc.

Depends on the crowd mix at the hotel. Last time we found all the floors looked good and the rooms were nice.

If there is a school trip at the hotel, you might want you be away from their block of rooms, as kids can be kids, but late September is too early for that

We are there at the same time. It will get busy nearer the end of the week, as there is a special events weekend on the 3rd - 5th.

We were there last month and had a room at the very end of the hall on the part of the building closest to the pool. I think it was 442. Perfect location as no one walks by your room at night and you only need to open the door to see the fireworks. We were on the side with the construction but it never bothered us at all as they work daytime hours. I would say any floor 4 and above would be great. I think if you were on the pool side you may hear more noise at night.

We stayed on the first floor facing north and found it very quiet and convenient.
