We were in epcot. (It was in fact much deeper than it looks on that DHS pic above.)
We started out lucky, as we had just gone into Soarin. People started coming in soaked and drippiing, the roof started leaking in the Land… we stayed in there a long time, as did hundreds of others. We did walk on Soarin three times. The rain on the roof was was so loud in Living with the Land plant growing areas, that I could see my son talking next to me, but could not hear him. But the flooding was the craziest and most surprising. Eventually we decided to leave that building. We were split on heading to the exit or running all the way to France for Remy. Once we got out and found that we truly were shin deep in water, we went for the busses, which took another 1+ hour. It did not seem safe at all. In all my years in WDW, I have never seen standing water like that after a one hour rain storm.
