I just heard a brief tidbit about this a few minutes ago.. How awful!

Jeez first I've heard about this. First massive flooding wisconsin, now Iowa.

It's pretty terrible. I have friends that have cabins on Lake Delhi, pretty much everything is gone. Most people in that area had less than an hours notice to evacuate before the dam broke.

Definitely not what we needed after all the flooding in 2008, too.

Yeah, we are in Milwaukee where all the flooding was the other day. Our street looked like a raging river Thursday night but nothing like that. This is insane.

A lot of people I know where supposed to fly into the Milwaukee airport this weekend for a conference and the airport was closed due to flooding. I don't know if it reopened or what the status is though.
