Hello fellow scrapbookers... i was just wondering what is flock and how you use it, i heard about it but dont know what it is or have ever seen it. TIA
flock is like itty bitty pieces of velvet. You put glue over an area and then sprinkle on the flock. Afterwards you brush off the extra that isn't sticking. It is like using glitter.
Doodlebug makes flock as well as another company (called fun flock but I don't know the company). It is a little messy to work with from my experience but fun.
And if you are glue impaired, not that I'm saying I am , Doodlebug also sells preflocked 12x12 paper in pink, black, brown that I've seen for sure at Hobby Lobby. You could then cut out the shapes with the Cricut or use the paper to embellish mats, squares, boxes, tags, etc.
I've also seen paper that is velvet feeling with other textures and designs already printed on it. Not sure if that can be used for the flock swap though.
