Floation devices in pools?

Are kids allowed to wear the back floaties (like used at most YMCA swim classes) in WDW pools? My girls use them in their classes and they swim great with them. I hate the arm floaties and they hate life vests, so we are hoping to bring their floats from home but would hate to pack them if we can't even use them. What about noodles? Are they available around the pools to borrow? Thanks!

I have always seen kids w/ floaties at the pools. Have never seen noodles in the pools. We have stayed at both WL and POP and they had life vests available free of charge for kids which my son used. At POP we signed them out in the arcade area. This was a few years ago so check w/ your resort to see if they still have these available. You may not need to pack anything at all. Have a great trip.

My 3 always use thier speedo "bubble suits" in the pools. We have used then at CR, AKL, and the Poly and no one has ever said anything to us. Our 4 yr old even goes down the slides in them. They has some noodles at the Poly the last time we were there if I remember right.

Not sure which resort you are staying at but when we were at the YC this past June they sold the noodles and we did see children wearing arm floaties. They also had life jackets at the YC as well as the GF so I am sure the rest of the resorts should have them as well. When our DS was little we always put him in a life vest as it made me feel much more comfortable. I don't like the arm floaties either. When we stayed at the GF in 2006 my DN had a bubble suit and they never said anything to us about it.
