Float/tube rentals on Castaway Cay

How does the Float/tube all day rental work? Do you have to keep up with the float all day? Can you leave it on the beach next to your chair? Do you have to worry about someone taking it?

You do take a chance when you leave them unattended, but we did not have a problem with anyone taking ours. We put our 2 tubes in the middle of our chairs and stuff when we went to lunch. It would have been hard to just walk away with them without anyone noticing. This was the only time we left them unattended and were happy to see them in the same place when we returned!
