We just saw this commercial the other day and they make it look sooo cool. DD got some a couple of years ago and it was junk! Didn't work at all like that and man was it messy. I told my boys who were asking for it that we were never having that stuff again.
My daughter wants that for her b-day in October. I know it will be a total mess, but it's the only thing she's asking for I looked at KB Toys yesterday. I figured Michaels or AC Moore would have it.
My daughter saved up her allowance and bought it. The tubs do not look as big as on tv. Big surprise there!! However, it is not very messy and she has done some neat projects with it. I bought her a plain metal trashcan and she decorated it with the floam. It hardens after a day or so. She has also done picture frames.
personally I don't thnk it is worth it and it really was junky--a few years ago it was marketed under the nickalodean brand name and I was not impressed--the stuff is cute when you cover it but in a few weeks it will harden, crack and fall apart.
As seen on tv priced it at $19.99 plus shipping and handling. I have seen it in our local mall "as seen on tv" stores to purchase as well. Hope that helps.
This stuff is really awesome and my girls have done a lot of neat projects with it! Its selling on ebay like hotcakes for way over the 19.95 price! The infomercial people have an 8 plus week backorder of the stuff, a lot of people are selling it on ebay for immediate shipping. Something to check out!
we had the Nick version a couple of years ago purchased at Walmart. I didnt think it was that messy but my DD was disappointed with it. It dries out like playdough and then you have to throw it out. We will not get it again not worth the money.
